Although I am not happy with the idea that anyone arrested for a small amount of cannabis will still be punished - that is offered treatment rather than court - as proposed by some police forces - the idea that those not making a nuisance, harming anyone, making profit, breaking other laws, may be largely ignored by police in the North East is, in my opinion, a step in the right direction in respect for Justice for Cannabis Users based upon the precept of No Victim No Crime.
This sort of step was what I was talking about in the lead up to and after the recent UK elections - that is an immediate change in policy without even changing the law and without a Royal Commission."

Nice to read No Victim No Crime. But to put the majority into 're-offending treatment' will not feel like no ore criminalisation. Ian
